Quando abbiamo aperto Dandelion Como suites and park, abbiamo notato che i nostri ospiti, entrando, rimanevano colpiti dall’atmosfera della corte:
un luogo antico che evocava feste del raccolto e grande tavolate e piatti cucinati secondo le ricette tradizionali, con ingredienti locali, frutti ed erbe spontanee raccolti nei campi ma anche l’aristocratica cucina messa in tavola per i proprietari , che si trasferivano qui durante l’estate e ricevano i loro amici ai quali offrivano piatti sofisticati ,conosciuti nel loro soggiorno all’estero.
L’idea di ricreare quell’atmosfera ci e’ sembrata fantastica e così abbiamo aperto Arabella - cucina comasca contemporanea , dandole un nome un po’ campagnolo ed un po’ aristocratico come è anche lo spirito di Dandelion Como.
E visto come l’esperienza che offrivamo piaceva moltissimo ai nostri ospiti,
abbiamo voluto aprire anche all’esterno affinche’ questa corte storica e la cucina di Arabella possano essere apprezzate da tutti .

our story
When we opened Dandelion Como suites and park, we noticed that our guests, upon entering, were struck by the atmosphere of the courtyard:
an ancient place that evoked harvest festivals and large tables and dishes cooked according to traditional recipes, with local ingredients, wild fruits and herbs collected in the fields but also the aristocratic cuisine put on the table for the owners, who moved here from Milan during the summer and received their friends to whom they offered sophisticated dishes, met during their stay abroad.
The idea of recreating that atmosphere seemed fantastic to us and so we opened Arabella - contemporary Como cuisine, giving it a slightly rustic and slightly aristocratic name as is also the spirit of Dandelion Como.
And seeing how our guests liked the experience very much, we also wanted to open to external guests so that this historic courtyard and Arabella's cuisine can be appreciated by everyone.
